Drama at the circuit of the Mugello: an amateur pilot, Salvatore Pisanelli, is died after losing control of his motorbike, a Kawasaki, on the straight of the Scarperia track. Immediately rescued by the medical personnel of the track, the pilot immediately appeared very serious: despite the timely arrival of the doctors, any resuscitation attempt appeared in vain.

The fatal accident occurred yesterday afternoon, Thursday 22 June, while a free practice session reserved for private motorcyclists was underway on the Scarperia circuit. Salvatore Pisanelli, a 53-year-old of Sardinian origins, suddenly lost control of his motorbike, was transferred by ambulance to the resuscitation department of the track’s medical center where attempts to recover his vital parameters continued, as stated on Florence Today. However, the injuries sustained in the impact turned out to be too serious and, although a helicopter was already ready to transport the pilot to the Florentine Careggi hospital, the medical staff of the Mugello racetrack could only ascertain the man’s death.
