A motorist without a driver’s license crashed late on Sunday evening with a Jaguar XF from 2008 on a tree next to the street feeding in the village of Zeeland. The driver stated that he had flown out of the bend at a speed of approximately 60 kilometers per hour. Nobody was injured.
The car, with an original catalog value of 84,051 euros, was badly damaged. The left rear wheel and the rear axle broke completely.
The driver honestly did not have a driver’s license. He reported that he did five times driving test: three times in Nijmegen, once in Arnhem and once in Doetinchem. This led to nothing.
Hoist
A group of friends from the driver, who runs its own garage company in Nijmegen and has a car supporter, tried to remove the Jaguar himself. Due to a stuck handbrake and a too weak winch, this failed.
Eventually, at the request of the police, a salvage company in Cuijk was called in to hoist the vehicle.
