The police received a report of the accident in Kapelle around 8:30 a.m. The road is partially closed for police investigation.

The motorcyclist in Ederveen collided with a car on Brinklanderweg around 10.30 am that turned off. The man from Veenendaal died on the spot, a police spokesperson said.
Police are still investigating the exact cause of the collision.
The emergency services were deployed en masse in Ederveen, including the trauma team that was flown in by trauma helicopter to support the ambulance personnel.
