A motorcyclists was seriously injured on Monday evening by an accident on the Nieuwveerweg near Prinsenbeek. The motorcyclist ended up in a muddy ditch and bumped into a tunnel bin that runs under the A16.
Several emergency services arrived on the spot, including a trauma helicopter. Because the victim was stuck in the mud, the motorcyclist was seriously injured with the help of a fire brigade platform in a special stretcher. The trauma doctor is with the ambulance to the hospital.
The Nieuwveerweg is a road that is located along the A16 near Prinsenbeek. It is not yet clear how the accident could happen.
