A motorcycle and a car collided in New Amsterdam this afternoon. The motorcyclist suffered a serious fall. The accident happened around 5.23 pm at the intersection of Schooldijk and Kennedystraat.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with unknown injuries. Both the engine and the car were severely damaged. Both vehicles are picked up by a recovery company.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
