A 59-year-old man from the municipality of Halderberge was killed in an accident in Germany on Wednesday evening. This is reported by the German police. His passenger, a 62-year-old German woman from Goch, also did not survive the accident. The man and woman were riding a motorcycle together when they were hit.
The collision happened on Wednesday evening around ten o’clock on a provincial road near Asperden. That is just across the border at North Limburg. A 71-year-old woman drove into the road from a driveway of a house and overlooked the man on his Harley Davidson. The man and woman were both killed.
The driver and her passenger were both seriously injured and taken to hospital.
It is not known from which core of the municipality of Halderberge the man comes.
