The motorcycle racers in the World Championship road race will go to India for the first time next year. The MotoGP organizer has signed a contract with the circuit of Buddh, which is located south of the capital New Delhi. Three Formula 1 races have already been held on that circuit between 2011 and 2013, all won by the German Sebastian Vettel on behalf of Red Bull.
