Motcrosser Jeffrey Herlings has achieved his first victory of this season. The five -time world champion won the third and final cross of the Dutch Masters in Markelo. He won both heats in the 500cc.

Herlings started the season later because he took longer to recover from a knee operation. He skipped the first three Grands Prix in the World Championship (MXGP) and could not add a victory in the five in which he did start.

The Crosser from Oploo settled twice in Markelo with the Frenchman Romain Febvre, the current leader in the world championship. Febvre won the title in the Dutch Masters, because Herlings was missing the first game in Harfsen in March.
