A motocross rider fell and was injured on the Hoogeveenseweg near Nieuw Balinge. A group of motocross riders were riding along the cycle path when one of them crashed.
Two ambulances and a trauma helicopter were then urgently present to provide assistance. The victim was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
It is not known how the accident could happen.
