Motocross rider Glenn Coldenhoff loses third place in World Cup position

Motocross rider Glenn Coldenhoff has lost his third place in the MXGP championship. The resident of Heesch, who won the Grand Prix of Finland last week, finished sixth in the Grand Prix of Charente Maritime (France).

The Spaniard Jorge Prado finished third and earned 12 points more than the Dutchman. Coldenhoff dropped to fourth place in the ranking as a result.

Slovenian Tim Gajser won his ninth grand prix this season, extending his championship lead yet again. He already secured his fourth world title in Finland last week.

The title fight has one more race, in Turkey at the beginning of September. Coldenhoff has to make up 4 points on Prado to regain third place in the championship.
