Hub Telemed, a Moscow-based service for automatic analysis of X-ray examinations, launched a year ago on the basis of a unified digital healthcare platform, has a new function. With the help of the service, it became possible to evaluate the results of mammography. About it told Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development Anastasia Rakova.
In Moscow, 1.5 million diagnoses were made using artificial intelligence
“For a year now, a special Hub platform has been providing doctors from all regions of Russia with access to artificial intelligence technologies that are successfully used in the institutions of the capital. And we see the interest that specialists from other regions show in the possibilities of the service – several hundred doctors from all over Russia have already used it. Hub Telemed is used by doctors when processing the results of computed tomography of the lungs of patients with suspected coronavirus infection or when assessing the dynamics of an already confirmed disease. Access to the platform is provided only to medical professionals – both specialists in radiation diagnostics, and representatives of clinical specializations: therapists, pulmonologists,” the Vice Mayor said.
The Hub Telemed service was developed by the Center for Diagnostics and Telemedicine of the Moscow Health Department. With the help of artificial intelligence, the service processes images and draws the attention of a specialist to a zone of possible pathology. Primary computer image processing takes from two to 15 minutes. In addition, the service provides an opportunity to get the necessary advice from Moscow experts in a particular area of diagnostics.
