Thousands of visitors came this weekend at the 70th edition of the Bloemendagen in Anna Paulowna and Breezand. There they could admire the most colorful works of art from, among others Dieuwertje Blok and Rob de Nijs. Traditionally, visitors can also vote for their favorite mosaic, and that has been done again this year.
This year, in -channels did their best again to be able to get away with the win, but punctures the top team is again the big winner. “For the third time in a row. Congratulations, again the public prize,” says board member Kim Wilms, who awarded the prize this afternoon.
No more participation
This year the team received 217 of the nearly 900 votes. After a mosaic by Nick and Simon in 2023 and one of The film Oppenheimer in 2024the puncture team has now won the Toppers for the third year in a row. “And you really see that the mosaics get better per year,” says Kim Wilms.
Nevertheless, the organization will discuss whether the puncture team after three years in a row will not be allowed to participate next year. So that the rest also gets a fair chance. “Yes, maybe that should be,” says Jurjen Borst van puncture team De Toppers. “But it is always fun to win.”
