More than twenty artists pay tribute to Will Tura in…

Will Tura was on stage for more than sixty years. In June he announced his retirement because he has Alzheimer’s. He rounded off his career with the release of the compilation album ‘When I look back (and 99 other songs)’.

So a “grand musical tribute” took place on Thursday evening. Bart Peeters, Clouseau, Daan, Geike Arnaert, Helmut Lotti, Niels Destadsbader, Ruben Block, Sandra Kim and Stijn Meuris, among others, performed a song by ‘the Emperor of Flemish song’.

Tura enjoyed it from the front row, but he also took the stage himself one last time and sang ‘Lonely without you’, to loud applause from all his fans. An emotional moment.
