On average, more than one care home is added every day in Flanders. This is evident from figures that Flemish MP Katrien Schryvers (CD&V) has requested. Last year, for example, there were 361 notifications and an additional 70 permits. Since mid-August 2021, seven reports of care units in the garden have also been registered.
