More than a million people watched the documentary Elizabeth: The Unseen Queen on Sunday evening. The portrait about Queen Elizabeth, which was broadcast on NPO 1, was the fourth most watched program of the day, according to Stichting KijkOnderzoek.
The documentary, which was made on the occasion of Elizabeth’s jubilee, was repeated on Sunday because of her death. Later in the evening, the documentary A Tribute to Her Majesty The Queen was also shown on NPO 1. 185,000 people watched that.
The most watched program of the day was the NOS Journaal from 8 p.m. More than 2 million people voted for it. The summaries of the Eredivisie and Postcode Lottery Miljoenen Jacht follow with 1.8 million and 1.3 million viewers respectively.
