An accident happened on the A2 in the direction from Eindhoven to Maastricht. The road is littered with debris and between Valkenswaard and Maarheeze the road was therefore closed. Motorists must take into account more than 45 minutes delay. A lane has been opened again since nine.
The road surface is cleaned and the recovery company is on the way to take the cars. Traffic in the direction of Maastricht is diverted from the Lederheide junction. You can detour via the A67 and A73.
Rijkswaterstaat expects the road to be free again around half past nine.
