Trump praises Sweeney and distracts from Epstein scandal

SWEENEY, known from the Euphoria series, had caused a sensation with her “Good Jeans” campaign for American Eagle. The advertising was partly criticized on social media, but most of the attention came from right-wing accounts, which celebrated the spot as an example of an “anti-woke” and “anti-dei” aesthetics. No prominent democrat has so far commented on this – but the topic of such a vortex ensures that even Trump interfered.

Trump praises Sweeney and distracts from Epstein scandal

Trump told reporters that he “love” the spot and mentioned that Sweeney was registered as a registered republican. He wrote on Truth Social: “Sydney Sweeney, registered Republican, has the hotest advertising outside. It is for American Eagle, and the jeans go away like warm cakes. Los Sydney!”, Followed by a swift against Taylor Swift.

In the meantime, the criticism of Trump’s handling of the Epstein case does not tear off. At the moment, the decision is particularly criticized by moving Ghislaine Maxwell – Epstein’s accomplice – to a low -secured detention center in Texas. The Ministry of Justice interviewed Maxwell last week, and according to CNN it is considering publishing transcripts of their statements.

Further distractions: Russia investigations and Obama disadvantages

Fox News doesn’t just seem to distract from the Epstein complex with the Sweeney story. Between July 18 and 28, the broadcaster sent 168 contributions about unavoidable claims that Barack Obama fake secret service information against Trump in 2016-a new attempt to put Russia investigations into the light again.

It is hardly surprising that Fox prefers to report about Sweeneey’s jeans than about Epstein’s connections to Trump-after all, the ex-president himself looks.
