The group stage draw for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the USA, Mexico and Canada between 11 June and 19 July 2026, was drawn on Friday, December 5. It has been confirmed that our National Football Team will compete with the USA, Australia and Paraguay in Group D if it passes the play-off round in March.
After the draw, our National Team’s Coach Vincenzo Montella spoke. Montella, “Our focus is on the play-off matches we will play in March. We have not been able to participate in the World Cup for 24 years and now we are really close. We will take the most important steps in March. Our dream is the same as all our people, we want to take part in the World Cup after a long time. We are working towards this goal.” he said.
