Monique Westenberg is yet another influencer with her own podcast, but André Hazes Jr.’s ex is not yet getting her hands on it. “She better start cleaning again!”
As a celebrity you no longer belong if you don’t have your own podcast and that is why Monique Westenberg has only taken one: Lullen en Poetsen. Just like her ex André Hazes Jr. “Dré also says: ‘Shall we listen to Dad in the car?’ I have listened to two of André and Rox and I still laugh at André all the time,” she says Show news.
I don’t care
Does Monique only talk about this and that or does something more come up every now and then juicy is? “If there is a gossip or an assumption going around somewhere, look, you can of course correct it.”
She continues: “There are sometimes misconceptions or judgments. I think that by showing who you are here, people will gain different insights. Or maybe not. Maybe they think I’m very stupid, but I don’t care.”
Marketing-wise
Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteegden listened, but is deeply disappointed. “I really spent half an hour looking for: will there be anything about André Hazes?”
He continues: “I think: if you make a new podcast and you want to market it as Monique, then yes, then it would of course have been smart, marketing-wise, to link it to André somewhere.”
Gossip
Jordi wants more sleaze and dirt. “She talks to us about gossip that she wants to contradict. Then pick one up and start talking about it, but now it was really half an hour of chatter about nothing, about friendship and about soul mates.”
Presenter Tooske Ragas: “Okay, but then I have to play devil’s advocate: there are really a lot of podcasts about nothing that are extremely popular.”
For women
Celebrity expert Bart Ettekoven thinks that Jordi is not the target group. “Yes, maybe you’re just not the target group. I think it’s really for women.”
Jordi concludes: “Yes, that’s right, but anyway: I really like listening to podcasts that are intended for women. It’s called Cocks and Poetsen, but I think: I better start cleaning again, because they don’t handle dicking very well yet. To be honest: it’s not really about anything.”
