Monique Hansler has refused the recording of Wilfred Genee’s new love talk show because it is too far removed from her sponsor Prijsvrij Vakanties, she tells Shownieuws. “Curacao?!”
Just before the Curaçao edition of Today Inside started, Wilfred Genee flew to the sunny island to record a new interview program about love. Every day he went out with a different famous love couple and recordings with the infamous Monique Hansler and her husband were also planned.
Mo isn’t coming
Wilfred revealed at his VI table that her manager Khalid Kasem has resigned, but it is not entirely clear why. Monique now provides additional information and explanation Show news.
“I was invited by Wilfred,” she agrees. “They really wanted to have me there, nice, and he now tells me that he wanted to talk to my husband about: what kind of woman do you have, and this and that. Khalid is from Prijsvrij, a large chain also has them, and in Curaçao it is Corendon.”
Sponsorship issue
So it is a sponsorship issue, says Monique. “Yes, then it would be a bit strange that we would be at Corendon. I can understand that too.”
How are the recordings of her soap going? In VI it was alleged that she argued with the crew. “The recordings are going very well. We’ve been at it for a while, haven’t we? We’re having a lot of fun. We’re laughing like crazy.”
‘Shame!’
Tooske Ragas thinks it is a shame that Monique did not go to Curaçao. “I would have liked an interview with them, actually.”
Celebrity photographer William Rutten: “It would have been smart too, I think. Just a different look.”
Finally, show expert Lara Zevenberg: “And I would indeed like to hear that man speak in this way. I’m curious. Isn’t that nice?”
