Moncler x Palm Angels: Maya down jacket with optical fiber

70 years of Moncler, 70 days of celebration

The number “seventy” in this new initiative by Moncler it is central. Not just because in this 2022 the famous brand blows out its first seventy candles. But also why the program of this initiative will be outlined in seventy days, which will see seven designers compete with the iconic Maya jacket.

The aim is to see how an immortal garment like the brand’s down jacket can go hand in hand with the different visions of the future of those who are used to changing the path of fashion day by day.

Francesco Ragazzi: “I never stop thinking about the future”

The founder of Palm Angels, Francesco Ragazzi, explained their choice. “I never stop thinking about the future. It is fascinating to imagine it and somehow anticipate what is to come. The next Maya duvets: Pierpaolo Piccioli and Pharrell Williams

The garment will be available online and in stores starting tomorrow, October 15th. And from there, each week will come out a new interpretation of the head of Moncler.

They will confront the history and uniqueness of the jacket Maya Thom Browne, Hiroshi Fujiwara, Rick Owens, Pierpaolo Piccioli, Giambattista Valli And Pharrell Williams.
