Mona Keijzer is very angry about a comment that Jaïr Ferwerda makes in front of the RTL camera. She takes a step back and shouts: “Wow, wow. Now it’s getting complicated. Now it’s getting complicated.”

Yesterday, at the initiative of Jesse Klaver, the House of Representatives debated the normalization of violence in politics and society. “We see riots everywhere, whether or not encouraged by right-wing extremist clubs around the reception of refugees. We see arson in Loosdrecht, calls to stop refugees by force,” he shouted.

Rammed out of the country

It seems that Gidi Markuszower’s statements about ‘maximum violence’ against Palestinian asylum seekers were the last straw. “Yes, there it is, Gidi Markuszower, good day. A few more Palestinians rammed out of the country?” Jaïr Ferwerda asks him in front of the camera. RTL Tonight.

Gidi: “Well, people are never supposed to do that themselves, are they? I made those statements publicly and not in the House of Representatives and I have also interpreted them publicly.”

Mona is shocked

A little later Jaïr also addresses Mona Keijzer. “Is this debate actually a bit about you? Because you were there in Loosdrecht and you also stirred things up a bit.”

Mona is shocked, takes a step back and says: “Wow, wow. Now it’s getting complicated. Now it’s getting complicated. That’s of course a completely idiotic thing to say.”

Democratic

Jair sticks to his insinuation. “No, but look: you went there, a democratic decision was made there and then you have to leave that to the municipal council, right?”

Mona concludes: “Certainly not. I am a national politician, a representative of the people and, like many people in the Netherlands, I am concerned about the unbridled influx of asylum seekers.”

Beau van Erven Dorens decides in the studio: “Jaïr went in with his leg straight.”
