MKE Ankaragücü became the owner of the 56th TSYD Ankara Cup – Last minute Football news



Trendyol Super League team MKE Ankaragücü beat Trendyol 1st League representative Gençlerbirliği 2-0 in the UBK İnşaat 56th TSYD Ankara Cup and took the cup to its museum for the 18th time.

The goals came in the first half of the match played at Eryaman Stadium. The yellow-dark blue team started the match quickly and went to the locker room 2-0 ahead with goals from Atakan Çankaya in the 16th minute and Efkan Bekiroğlu in the 24th minute.

In the second half, neither team could take advantage of their opportunities and MKE Ankaragücü won the match 2-0 and became the owner of the TSYD Ankara Cup.

THE MOST VALUABLE PLAYER ATAKAN ÇANKAYA WAS ELECTED

MKE Ankaragücü’s football player Atakan Çankaya received the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of the match.

The MVP of the competition was determined by the votes of the press members. Ümit Karataş, Chairman of the Board of Directors of UBK İnşaat, gave his award to Atakan, who scored the first goal of the match.

MKE Ankaragücü received the TSYD Ankara Cup, which it won for the 18th time, at the ceremony held at the end of the match.

At the ceremony held on the field, TSYD Ankara Branch Deputy Chairman Bülent Karadaş presented the second place cup to Gençlerbirliği.

TSYD Ankara Branch President Murat Tarhan gave MKE Ankaragücü’s championship cup.

With this victory, the yellow-dark blue team equalized the TSYD Ankara Cup number with Gençlerbirliği.

THE KICK-OFF WAS TAKEN WITH THE BALL SEWED BY THE WOMEN

The kick-off of UBK İnşaat 56th TSYD Ankara Cup was made with a handmade football ball sewn by women in Burdur.

In cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ), the balls are produced by women at FIFA standards within the scope of the “Hand-Sewn Ball Production Course” project.

The kick-off of Turkey’s most played private football tournament was made with this special ball.
