From 1 October, customers of Colruyt and Okay will find a striking newcomer in the shelves: minced meat that consists of 60 percent beef and 40 percent for bean flour. This means that the supermarket group wants to reduce the share of animal proteins, without sacrificing taste, texture or nutritional value. The minced meat contains less saturated fats and more fiber, but can be used in the same way as classic minced meat.
