The Berlin eyewear retailer Mister Spex SE is continuing to expand its presence in its hometown. On Thursday the company will open a new store on Kurfürstendamm, one of the capital’s most important shopping streets. This is the optician’s seventh store in Berlin. It now has 66 branches nationwide.
With the new opening at Kurfürstendamm 200, the company is continuing its “selective store expansion” in Germany. This strategy aims to “accelerate profitability growth and improve the company’s margin profile,” according to a statement published on Thursday. The eyewear retailer concentrates “on markets in which the company can demonstrate a high level of awareness and an established demand for optical services”.
