Mister Spex: Co-CEO Mirko Caspar is leaving

Mirko Caspar, co-CEO at Mister Spex, is leaving the Berlin optician chain.

Caspar, who worked for the company for twelve years, has asked the supervisory board to resign from the board on December 31, 2023, Mister Spex SE announced on Wednesday. He will then support the company to ensure a proper handover. Co-CEO Graber and CFO Stephan Schulz-Gohritz will take over Caspar’s responsibilities after his departure.

“With Mirko, Mister Spex has successfully increased its brand awareness in its core markets to over 70 percent,” said Mister Spex founder Dirk Graber. “Together we have built a strong leadership team and I am proud that we are now the leading, digitally driven omnichannel optician in Germany.”
