Belle Epoque

The Paravang in Blankenberge is a windbreak with seats dating from 1908, the Belle Époque period. The iconic windshield has not been restored for decades and it is therefore high time that it was taken care of.

In the first phase, the iron parts are tackled and everything receives a rust-resistant treatment. The work must prevent serious damage from occurring in the future due to rust formation or weathering. Since the last restoration in 1996, insufficient maintenance has been carried out, such as painting, which has damaged the metal parts.
