Minister of State Winnie Sorgdrager will give advice on the conditions for a sustainable cooperation relationship between the Ministry of Finance and the (equal) worthy recovery (SGH) foundation in order to achieve a successful continuation and upscaling of the SGH route for duped parents with additional damage.

State Secretary Sandra Palmen (recovery and allowances) writes this in a letter to the Lower House. Following the advice of the Van Dam committee, the cabinet wants the SGH route to scale up as quickly as possible, in a way that can be explained to the parents and society and where the story of the parent is central. At the moment the foundation is unable to scale up. In recent days, another impasse has been created by a difference of opinion about the conditions needed for a successful performance, upscaling and settlement of the SGH route.

According to State Secretary Palmen, Sorgdrager’s advice is necessary to break the impasse and to provide parents with clarity as quickly as possible.
