Milou Rietjens, who participated in 2019 Farmer seeks wifeis expecting her first child. The very happy Limburg woman shared this on her Instagram on Sunday. The little one is due in September.
“Our long-awaited dream,” Milou captioned a video of her giving her partner a kiss while holding a photo of her ultrasound. In other snaps she shows her pregnant belly. “We are so happy!” she adds.
Although Milou also knows that ‘unfortunately the road to a child is not always a bed of roses’. ‘As I post this, I realize all too well what such announcements can feel like if you are also eagerly awaiting this happiness. Thinking of you, warrior! You are not alone!’, she tells her followers.
Milou became famous when she participated in the popular dating program Farmer seeks wife. She fell in love with farmer Bastiaan, who in turn also liked her from the first moment saw. She moved in with him on his farm in Zeeland, but the relationship ultimately did not last, until Milou’s sadness.
She is now happily in love again with her new partner. Three years ago she told this site that there was a new man in her life. “He didn’t look Farmer seeks wifeso he didn’t know me,” says Milou. “Because that was something I found difficult when I had a date: does someone like me because of that program or because of who I am? With him it is certainly the latter.”
