Millie Bobby Brown stood on one “Stranger Things” event in London against a group of photographerswho shouted at her on the red carpet. When one of them shouts “Smile!” shouted, Brown immediately responded: “Smile? Smile!” as she pointed at the photographers.

She then left the carpet, visibly upset.

The cast of the Netflix series, which ends this year, were at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London for a special screening. The screening came a week after Brown reunited with co-star David Harbor at a premiere event following rumors of bullying and harassment on set. Noticeable: Harbor was not present last night.

Special screening in London and recent allegations

The Daily Mail recently reported that Brown had allegedly filed harassment and bullying complaints against Harbor – who plays a sort of adoptive father to her character in the series – to producers before filming the final season. “There were pages and pages of allegations. The investigation took months,” a source told the Daily Mail. Brown’s specific allegations were not disclosed, but sexual assault was not said to have been one of them.

Brown has become increasingly willing to hit back at those who bully her – especially when it comes to criticism of her appearance.

Brown’s attitude towards paparazzi and media coverage

“I respect journalism. I like reading articles about my favorite people and hearing what they’re doing. I understand that paparazzi exist, even if it’s invasive, even if it feels like shit to me – I know that’s your job,” Brown told British Vogue earlier this month. “But don’t put me down in the headline. This is so wrong and it’s bullying – especially towards young girls who are new to this industry and question everything anyway.”

Stranger Things will end with a two-part season this fall. The first four episodes will be released on November 26th, with three more on Christmas Day. A two-hour finale follows on New Year’s Eve. The final episode will also be shown in cinemas at the same time as the Netflix release.

Brown’s departure from “Stranger Things”

Brown recently reflected on the series’ ending in an interview with Variety: “I cried more than I expected. Even though I was at the point where the series had to end, both professionally and personally, in that moment I was so aware of the finality of it, and perhaps I wasn’t emotionally prepared.”
