Actually, Miley Cyrus just wanted to shoot a music video for her song “Walk of Fame”. Ultimately, she injured her knee and probably had to spend a time in the intensive care unit.

The singer released her ninth studio album Something Beautiful on May 30th. For the music video for the soon appearing song “Walk of Fame”, the 32-year-old chose the famous sidewalk as a backdrop. As she tells in a new episode of the late night show “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, she rolled over the ground there at night.
However, she only felt the consequences for this campaign a month later: “I made this video in October and in November I was in the intensive care unit for a moment,” revealed Cyrus. “My leg began to dissolve in the area of the kneecap.” The doctor who treated the musician in the hospital probably asked her where the “brutal infection” came from. Cyrus then remembered the shoot and had to explain to him why she had “rolled” over a dirty walkway at night.
In the meantime, the former Disney star seems to be able to laugh about it. Above all, she has remembered the encounter with her surgeon. “That a surgeon just looks at you and says ‘Igitt’ – they open otherwise corpses,” she said giggingly.
New album, but not a tour
Cyrus now seems to have recovered from the knee infection. In an interview with Zane Lowe at Apple Music, however, she recently explained that for other health reasons she will not go on tour at first. At the moment, a tour would probably be too much physical and mental effort for the artist. Overall, the stress is too big for them in order to be able to play concerts happily.
Miley Cyrus Released Something Beautiful as a POP opera
What Cyrus already revealed about the new album: The 13 songs of the new LP are to be presented as a “unique pop opera”. The corresponding film for the album is scheduled to appear in June. The single release “Prelude”, “End of the World”, “More to Lose” and “Something Beautiful” have already been published and offer a first taste of the new project.
