The morning starts cloudy and it remains gray later in the day. Some rain may fall during the day. “It does not involve large quantities, but it can be a bit drizzly from time to time,” Visser says on NH Radio.
The temperature this morning will be around 8 to 9 degrees, and will rise to 13 degrees this afternoon. The wind blows from the south and is moderate over land and quite strong on the coast. This afternoon the wind will turn to the southwest and then increase near the sea.
Mild autumn weather
Tomorrow it will be slightly milder, with temperatures around 15 degrees. There are a lot of clouds again, but it remains dry. During the day the sun breaks through in some places. The wind comes from the south to southeast, and is moderate on land and quite strong on the coast.
It will also remain quite mild for the rest of the week, with temperatures around 16 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday. Every now and then the sun shows itself and the chance of rain remains small, also towards the weekend.
Only towards the end of the week will it become slightly cooler and local fog may form. In the longer term, temperatures will drop further. “Especially after Sint Maarten, the temperature drops to around 9 or 10 degrees during the day,” says Visser.
