After five wins, Inter Milan made their first mistake in the new Serie A season. The Champions League finalist surprisingly lost 1:2 (1:0) to Sassuolo Calcio in front of their own fans on matchday 6. Yann Sommer didn’t look good when he conceded the first goal.
The former Bayern Munich goalkeeper had a shot from Nedim Bajrami hit the near corner (54′), nine minutes later Domenico Berardi (63′) also scored for Sassuolo. In the final phase of the first half, Denzel Dumfries (45th + 1) gave Inter the lead.
