In the 95th minute, the Rossoneri’s intervention in the area generated over 15 minutes of adrenaline and pure tension. And the match continues until the minute… 104!

November 29, 2025 (changed at 11.44pm) – MILAN

Without half measures. From the boredom of the first half to the pyrotechnics of the infinite recovery at the end of the second half. When Milan-Lazio seems to be heading towards the final whistle, with the Devil blocking the Biancocelesti’s attacks tooth and nail – minute after minute – then anything happens.

pavlovic, then chaos

Referee Collu assigns five extra minutes of play (too many for Meazza, who blows the whistle for the decision) and, right in the last action of the match, all hell breaks loose: Tavares’ cross from the left, Romagnoli hits a flat volley in the center of the area, with the ball hitting Pavlovic’s elbow, who is clinging to Marusic at the time. The ball changes trajectory drastically, Collu lets it continue and basically all of Lazio goes around the referee, asking him for the VAR room to intervene. Which happens. As we know, apart from very sporadic cases, when a whistle is called to the monitor, it then changes its decision. And so Milan felt trapped, a circumstance that got on Allegri’s nerves. The Rossoneri coach is furious, he waves and shouts at the fourth official, certainly exceeding the limits of what is tolerable and Collu shows him the red light. But there are also ongoing discussions with the Lazio bench. In particular with Sarri’s deputy, Marco Ianni. Furious in turn, he would like to go against Max after a quick but evidently intense exchange of words. (At least) five of them have to hold him to avoid physical contact that could have ended very badly.

collu’s verdict

The minutes pass, tempers do not calm down and in this whole context the paradox is that Collu has not yet managed to place himself in front of the monitor: too many measures to take, too many tempers to calm down. When he finally manages to take a stand in front of the video, a certain silence falls on the Meazza. It takes him over a minute to decide. Until he heads towards the center of the field, roughly pushing away the players who don’t let him pass, and issues the verdict: “Pavlovic’s arm is out of shape, but first there is a foul suffered by the defender himself.” Marusic’s hold on the Serbian’s shirt was therefore punished. San Siro explodes with joy, Lazio is incredulous and angry. Hands in his hair, Guendouzi waves his arms as if to say let’s end it here, it’s a farce. Gabbia goes to hug Maignan but then Milan desperately needs to regroup because the match isn’t over there. It ends when the clock shows 103 minutes and 50 seconds, and that point, the Rossoneri’s one-nil, is put in black and white.
