Former heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson has not been charged after his plane beating. This was announced by the San Mateo County/California Attorney’s Office on Tuesday. The decision was made after viewing video footage.

Cellphone footage had shown Tyson leaning over the back of his seat and punching a man. According to the American tabloid TMZ, the passenger had previously not wanted to stop provoking the 55-year-old American.

According to the public prosecutor’s office, “the behavior of the victim prior to the incident” was also taken into account. In addition, the beaten passenger did not want to be charged.
