On February 28, Mick Schumacher starts at the long -distance world championship. He published a picture of his helmet beforehand – reminding him of his famous father.

Racing driver Mick Schumacher presented his new, neon -colored helmet on Instagram for the coming season of the long -distance world championship (WEC). Among other things, you can see a black kite that is positioned on the back of the head – a clear homage to his famous father.

Racing driver icon Michael Schumacher always wore a kite on his helmets from 2005. The “picture” said the seven-time Formula 1 world champion in 2010: “For me, this chose a newspaper in China as a symbol of strength and strength. I liked it.”

For the supporters of Mick Schumacher, it is therefore clear that the son wants to honor his father with the new helmet and detail. So a user wrote: “Great helmet and great homage to Michael.”

In addition to the kite, number 47 is also shown that Mick Schumacher already had in Formula 1 on his racing helmet. With this number, he is now also starting at the WEC.
