Does it make it or does it not make it? That is the big question about Michael van Gerwen towards the play-offs of the Premier League on 29 May in London. At the start of the last four of sixteen regular play evenings, his place is still on a sides of the best four. But now he does excellent things towards his direct competitors. He defeated Rob Cross (6-4) and Gerwyn Price (6-3) and is on ‘Night 13’ in Birmingham in his second final of this season, against Luke Littler.
