Michael Dingsdag switches and prefers Jong Volendam to Telstar

Michael Dingsdag is the new trainer of Jong FC Volendam. He succeeds Kiki Musampa who relegated from the second division with the talents last season. The premier league player announced this this morning.

With this, the 40-year-old Tuesday exchanges Telstar for FC Volendam. In Velsen-Zuid, the former professional footballer worked for two seasons as an assistant to head coaches Andries Jonker and Mike Snoei, respectively. He also had Telstar Under 21 years under his wing. The born Amsterdammer was previously a youth trainer at NAC Breda. It is not yet known who will take over Dingsdag’s duties at Telstar.

Regilio Simons

Regillio Simons will assist Tuesday. The father of PSV player Xavi Simons worked in Ajax’s youth academy between 2013 and 2017 and was active as a trainer for various amateur teams. Simons, 49 years old and also a former professional, takes over the duties of Harry Zuurveld.

Due to the relegation from the second division, Jong FC Volendam will play in the U23 competition next season.

Last season, presenter Erik-Jan Brinkman played a game of Raak de Vlag with Michael Dingsdag in football talk show De Aftrap. Check out the video below to see how that turned out.
