Michael Byrne has passed away, according to reports from British media. The long-time actor, known for his roles in the “Harry Potter” and “Indiana Jones” film series, has died at the age of 82.
Michael Byrne (1943-2026) is no more. Several British media outlets confirm this news. According to an obituary from the Guardian, he passed away on June 20, at the age of 82. Tabloid The Sun also reported on Byrne’s passing, with the cause of death initially unknown.
Byrne enjoyed a long stage career at the National Theatre in London and gained recognition through numerous television series and Hollywood films. He began appearing on screen in the 1960s.
