Michael Ballack returns to the pitch as a brand ambassador for Skechers.
The soccer pro is in front of the camera for cross-platform marketing initiatives of the footwear brand’s performance and lifestyle collections, Skechers announced on Friday. The start of the cooperation is planned for August. The campaign focuses on the ‘Arch Fit’ models.
“Germany is an important market for Skechers and Europe is one of our best performing regions,” said Skechers COO David Weinberg. “Creating a campaign with Michael Ballack is a smart investment in the growth of our men’s category and we think he will generate excitement and interest in our collections across Europe.”
In addition to the German footballer, international athletes are also among the Skechers brand ambassadors, including US baseball player Clayton Kershaw and former US boxer Sugar Ray Leonard.
