Michael Ballack used to stand on the lawn for the national team. In the meantime, he accompanies the current team with comments – and criticized on Wednesday.

Germany has not convinced. Portugal was better. The result: The team of national coach Julian Nagelsmann missed the final in the Nations League. The 1: 2 was not enough for the DFB team. Instead, the team has to play third place in Stuttgart on Sunday (from 3 p.m. in the T-Online live ticker)-against the loser from the party on Thursday evening. Germany therefore meets either Spain or France.

After the defeat of the German team, Michael Ballack had a clear criticism. The former national player and DAZN expert became clear: “It was a bit slow, a bit agile.” You took the lead, but then the team had become passive.

The former DFB captain continued: “We didn’t have the control. The necessary fitness was not there-the quality. The national coach himself also knew that it lacked his team of pallow. He clearly said: “Then every third division team can play apart.”

On Wednesday evening in Munich it became clear that the German team has a quality problem in width. (Read more about the statements of Nagelsmann and the problem here.) Therefore, Ballack also said with a view to the change from Nagelsmann, who did not bring the desired effect: “The change did not fragate. He has no quality and no dynamic. A gosens or filler-this is not a top European class. Of course you change our game well.”
