MF Brands Group: Lacoste mother appoints new head of sustainability

The Swiss fashion holding MF Brands Group has appointed Carole de Montgolfier to the role of Chief Sustainability Officer.

In this position, De Montgolfier will be responsible for the CSR strategy – i.e. corporate social responsibility – of the group and the individual brands Aigle, Gant, Lacoste, Tecnifibre and The Kooples. She will also represent the company on the “relevant CSR bodies,” MF Brands announced on Thursday. She reports to Deputy General Manager Alexandre Nodale.

“With their dual expertise in finance and CSR, we can count on their rigor and skills to implement our social and environmental strategy,” said Thierry Guibert, CEO of MF Brands Group. “Your arrival is a testament to our commitment and the leadership that MF Brands is taking in its industry to make it ever more responsible and foster a desirable future.”

Since 2020, De Montgolfier has been active as CSR and Compliance Director at the FashionCube Group, a strategic alliance of the Mulliez family’s textile brands. Before that, she worked in various positions at the French retail group Carrefour for more than 20 years.
