The lingerie brand Mey kicked off its new multi-label concept Mes Amis with the opening of a store in Heidelberg on Friday.
In 2019, Mey had already taken over the multi-label retailers Uhlig in Mainz and Grazia in Salzburg. With the Mes Amis store concept, Mey wants to get further into the multi-label business. “We believe in good stationary concepts, especially in the underwear and lingerie sector. The success of our own Mey stores and the multi-label concepts motivates us to make further investments,” says CEO and Managing Partner Matthias Mey.
In the Mes Amis store, the Mey collections are supplemented with swimwear, stockings and lingerie from other brands. Falke, Anita, Simone Pérèle, DunD, Pain de Sucre, Watercult and Maryan Mehlhorn, among others, are represented in the range that is presented on the 140 square meters of the store. The store is on Hauptstrasse, Heidelberg’s shopping street.
When designing the Mes Amis store, particular attention was paid to the cubicle area, which the company says is spacious and discreet. In this way, Mey is pursuing the goal of reaching customers outside of the classic needs-based purchase and of focusing on the shopping experience.
