Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador says there is currently no communication with the area hit by Hurricane Otis. No deaths have been reported as a result of the storm so far. Weather forecasters had warned of a “nightmare scenario” of devastating winds, flooding and mudslides in the Mexican states of Guerrero and Oaxaca.
