From the cans of Coca-Cola, bags of Lay’s chips and Suzy waffles in your pantry to blueberries from the supermarket for breakfast: last year many products turned out not to be so innocent after all. The Federal Food Agency (FAVV) then had to intervene no fewer than 378 times with a recall or a warning. That is an increase of 8% compared to a year earlier and the highest figure in three years, according to figures obtained by HLN consumer expert Safia Yachou.
