MLS (Major League Soccer) team Inter Miami officially announced the extension of the contract of Argentinian star Lionel Messi, one of the biggest names in world football.
In the post made on the club’s social media accounts, it was stated that the Argentinian football player signed a new contract with Inter Miami, which he left Paris Saint-Germain and joined in 2023. Lionel Messi, whose current contract will expire at the end of this year, will play for the MLS team for at least 3 more seasons with this agreement.
With his performance in the previous season, Messi was selected as the best player of the 2023/24 season in MLS and also achieved the title of top scorer.
Messi, who scored 71 goals and recorded 37 assists in 82 matches with the Inter Miami jersey, also played a leading role in the important successes of his team. The star football player enjoyed the MLS Supporters’ Shield and League Cup championships in his Inter Miami career.
