The Merwedebrug near Gorinchem is located north strewn with glass. That is because a vehicle of glass plates is lost. The bridge is therefore temporarily closed and that results in more than two hours from Hank. Earlier in the day the delay was still for hours.
It is not known how the accident with the glass plates happened. Rijkswaterstaat uses a so -called Zoab Cleaner to clean up the shards. That is a special vehicle that is used to clean roads.
Although initially only the right -hand lane was closed, Rijkswaterstaat has now decided to close the entire bridge. The bridge is expected to be cleaned up again at half past four.
