Scheperkamp finished second today in the 500 meters (34.58) and fourth in the 1,000 meters (1.08.50). This earned him second place in the general classification. His deficit to De Boo was almost a full point. The stage consisted entirely of Dutch people. Tim Prins came third.
Jennings de Boo has clearly made her breakthrough in the last year. He became Dutch sprint champion for the first time two weeks ago. A year earlier he won the Dutch titles in the 500 and 1000 meters. He came second at the World Sprint Championships last season.
