Men severely beaten after Pride, police are looking for witnesses

Two or three young men assaulted two men (34 and 42) on the Vestdijk in Eindhoven on Sunday morning, August 7, around five o’clock. The perpetrators had addressed the couple on the Stratumseind ​​entertainment street, which ended in an argument. Both victims had to be treated in hospital. Police are looking for witnesses to the assault.

Both men had visited the Amsterdam Pride earlier in the day and wanted to end the day with some drinks at Stratumseind. Then they walked over Vestdijk to Central Station.

A fight broke out between the victims and the perpetrators in front of the ABN AMRO office. The victims were immediately knocked to the ground. The 34-year-old man passed out and had to be taken to hospital. Both victims do not remember much of the abuse.

The police have looked at CCTV footage. Those images show two boys running away in the direction of Central Station. It is not clear whether these men have anything to do with the abuse.

The police are looking for these two people. It concerns two slightly tinted men between the ages of 20 and 30.
