Melek (Nehir Erdogan) decides to return to Gaziantep, Turkey, with his children Kerem (Ulvi Kahyaoglu), Defne (Rabia Soytürk) and Seyit Ali (Selami Üstübi). He shows up at home, but his arrival creates confusion: his parents are having dinner with the family of Halil Sirhan (Kutsi), the man who refused to marry Alpay (Kaan Çakir).

The ex-in-laws think they are victims of a trap and leave in disgust. Melek’s father, Seyit Ali (Mehmet Çevik), still hasn’t forgiven her for building her life elsewhere and won’t let her in. Above all, choosing not to marry Halil has damaged her relationship with her ex-father-in-law Cumali (Nizam Namidar). Thrown out of their home, Melek and his children have nowhere to go and spend the night in a park; here Kerem discovers that his father has asked for a divorce and is living with another woman.

Meanwhile in Berlin, Alpay is attacked by the father of Kerem’s classmate. His son beat him and now Alpay must find three thousand euros in compensation. His girlfriend Funda (Ece Özdikici) asks him to be careful, but his only thought is to find Melek and make him pay.

The family’s refusal, Basak’s help

The following day, Melek is tracked down by her brother Mithat (Saim Güveloglu), who approaches her and slaps her. Kerem steps in to defend her and accidentally stabs him. Having undergone emergency surgery, he was saved, but Melek was unable to get closer as in the meantime his family members rushed to the hospital, where Cumali was also hospitalised. The latter is clear with Seyit: if he wants to recover their friendship, he must push his daughter away forever.

The protagonist realizes that, although twenty years have passed, her family is not ready to welcome her. Among the people he has to watch his back from is Kadriye (Hande Kaptan), pregnant, married to Mahmut (Muharrem Türkseven) and with a strong aversion towards him. The only one he can count on is Basak (Zeynep Özder), her best friend, who invites her to move into her and her husband’s house for a few days.

Meanwhile, Mithat is interrogated by the police and does not report Kerem, but is determined to take revenge. Revenge also desired by Halil’s mother, who is certain: «If that woman and Halil start breathing in the same place, I don’t know what will happen. If anyone hinders me I will have no respect and their villa will be reduced to ashes.”

In Berlin, the criminals return to look for Alpaywhich raises part of the requested sum thanks to Kerem’s employment in a football team. An engagement that Kerem knows nothing about. Again, Funda begins to realize that the man she fell in love with and to whom she opened the doors of her home hides a very violent side.

Melek and her children move to Basak, but her husband Ihsan (Murat Danaci) doesn’t trust her. Above all, he doesn’t want to damage relations with Halil. Kerem calls Alpay explaining that he is in danger and his father immediately goes to Türkiye with the intention of bringing him home. Immediately afterwards Kerem escapes, but is kidnapped by Mithat.

When Melek finds out, she asks her family for help and, once again, Halil rejects her; Despite this, he begins to consider forgiving her. In the end, Melek’s return has a strong impact on Halil, who leaves Gaziantep for a few days in search of some tranquility.
